Exploring Arts Program
For ages 3 - 5, children are exposed to the basics of music and other arts in a fun supportive group environment. This program (9:00am - 1:00pm, Monday through Friday) builds a solid foundation for later success in private lessons. S.T.A.R Program (Scholastic Theater Arts Resource)
Elementary school aged children participate in two arts classes and a silent study (homework) class each weekday (3:00 - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday) in our after-school program. It is a continuation of the Exploring Arts Program therefore many of the Exploring Arts students advance into the S.T.A.R. program.
The music aspect of S.T.A.R. includes songwriting, singing lessons, chorus, playing instrument, learning basic music theory and cultivating creativity. The Arts Academy of Hollywood provides limited transportation from local elementary schools for the S.T.A.R. program.
